Care

When puttting bracelets on and taking them off care should be taken.

Bracelets should each be put on and removed individually, rolling over the hand and wrist, not stretching the elastic.

Sterling Silver is prone to tarnishin so when your not wearing your bracelets we recommend keeping them in something airtight like a jewellery box or pouch.

Avoid wearing jewellery in water and remove before bathing, showing & swimming etc.

Avoid wearing bracelets when undertaking manual tasks.

Over time, the elastic on bracelets and rings may stretch and it is recommend that you check your jewellery and have pieces restrung.

What is gold-filled

We choose to work with 14k gold-filled because it allows me to offer quality jewellery at an affordable price.

Gold-filled will not flake off or turn your skin green and offers a great option for people with sensitive skin.  Gold-filled jewellery does not contain nickel.

The thick outer layer makes it highly durable and safe for people with allergies to sensitive skin.

Gold-filled is a thick layer of real solid 14k gold on the outside of a sterling silver core.  The 14k gold thats on the outside of gold-filled is the same gold as you would get from a solid 14k peice.

Filled vs. Plated

There is a lot more gold in gold-filled and the gold is attached in a way thats much more durable.  The standards for 14k gold-filled are strictly regulated, while the standards for ''gold plated'' encompass a broad range of thicknesses, so you can't be sure how much gold is in the plated layer.

Gold Filled jewellery can stay beautiful for a lifetime, especially with a little care.
